This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today. Tremont United Methodist Church is part of the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. We are members of the Metropolitan District and have been a presence in the community for over 160 years. UMC Mission: We strive to share God’s love by creating safe places where all are accepted and welcomed, connecting the needs of people to the presence of God, and transforming the world through Christ.
